Today’s Inspiration Polyvore board is perfect for this weather. This week has been inspired from gothic roses, dark forests,
dimly light candles with textures, black lips, velvet, and emeralds.
Emerald is going to be a hot color this year and this black
maxi dress is a perfect winter time alternative to long pants. If you were ever wondering what to wear a fashion forward
shag jacket with, this is it.
Keep this gothic chic look in mind for the week when you just want to feel cozy as you’re trying to make it through this weather, and you’ll be sure to keep your edge.
As you all know, Spring is around the corner, and we’ve already been experiencing the bipolar weather of Morgantown. One hour you’re sweating and the next hour you’re freezing. Luckily, there is help to get you through the day comfortably when deciding what to wear on days like described above, and this help is called layering. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when layering so that you can stand out, look fashionable, and make it through whatever weather the day brings.
1.) Don’t be afraid to mix patterns.
2.) The longer the article of clothing the closer it should be to your body when arranging layers.
3.) The thinner the article of clothing the closer it should be to your body (this applies before tip 2).
4.) Use a scarf and blazer instead of an giant jacket.
5.) Mix long dresses with a stylish jacket.
6.) Combine leathers/pleathers with soft sweater material.
7.) Don’t forget about hats
